Due to a recent injury within the Sanitation Department, the City of Knoxville will no longer be accepting garbage cans that exceed 32 gallons or 75 pounds and garbage bags are not to exceed 30 gallons or 50 pounds. The trash limit is 10 or less containers or bundles combined. Boxes are to be broken down/tied with string. No construction materials, no hazardous waste (includes paint) and no yard waste.
